Leigh Lampert serves as Associate Vice President and Senior Corporate Counsel to Sears Canada Inc., a large Canadian retailer. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Ryerson University and an Adjunct Professor of International Business and Human Resources at York University. He has previously worked as a lawyer in private practice and has served as a political advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Canada, the Minister of Labour, the Minister of National Defence, the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration and the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. He also volunteers on a number of boards and associations. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science from the University of Ottawa as well as a Bachelor of Law (LL.B.) and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Dalhousie University. He is originally from Moncton, New Brunswick and currently resides in the Toronto area with his family.
